SubOne
Have got a new laptop and loaded Google Earth but now don't have the KMZ files for the FSX/FTX airports. Where can I find the KMZ file/s please. Many thanks in advance...
Wolter van der Spoel
Hi Guy,you could have a look here => .....\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\User Documents as there is where our installer parks all User Documents
Matt McGee
If you want to look at or compare before you buy an Orbx product, just look on that product's info page. There is typically a kmz link under the "Orbx airports and regions locator" compass and globe icon. (Though Australia SP4 doesn't appear to have a kmz on its page.) SubOne
I've found the KMZ files for NZ and England in the User Documents folder but there's nothing there for Australia. What about the rest of the world? Thanks
Matt McGee
I've found the KMZ files for NZ and England in the User Documents folder but there's nothing there for Australia. What about the rest of the world? Thanks From my post above: "just look on that product's info page. There is typically a kmz link under the "Orbx airports and regions locator" compass and globe icon. (Though Australia SP4 doesn't appear to have a kmz on its page.)" On the main Orbx page "fullterrain.com", just scroll down a bit to the "ftx terrain regions". Click on the region's "info | buy" tab. Most regions have a kmz or user guide + kmz link (on the right side, just above the screenshot gallery. (Australia does not) Australia kmz can be found here: http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/41035-ftx-australia-region-coverage-area-kmz/
