atrdriver
I purchased 3 regions, which were England, Pacific Fjords, and Northern Rockies about 3 weeks ago (all on DVD by the way). However, in anticipation of Global coming out I didn't install them. OK, fast forward to today, I installed FTXG. Everything went fine, and the FTX Central looked as I expected it to in the users guide, with only FTX Global listed. I just installed the England region. Now FTX Central has 4 tiles, which are "default", "europe", and 2 copies of "FTX Global". However, no matter what I select I don't have an option for hybrid mode or vector roads. I plan to install the other two regions as well, but have I done something wrong here? Why don't I see the correct options, and why are there 2 FTX Globals listed? Thanks... fltsimguy
You have to install Global last as it is the most recent Central. Just reinstall Global again I suspect your troubles will be over. Delete the old icons.
NoLonger
Yes, install FTXG again but do NOT make another backup of the texture folder and CERTAINLY not at the same location (overwriting the previous backup!) because you will be backing up the already installed FTXG textures instead of what you previously had...! John Venema
Indeed, installing FTXG again will fix it. We are planning to release a new "core" download which will do the same but with a tiny download and installer instead.
atrdriver
Ok thanks guys, I will give that a shot, without doing the backup this time...
