drwalker
If I run FSX/FTX on one machine, and an external program that communicates via FSUIPC, eg FS Commander X, on a networked machine, do I have to have the main FSX directory shared? Thanks!
Sniper31
In my experiences, yes, you do. I run FSX on one PC, and FS Commander X and Active Sky X on a second PC, networked. I am at work right now, but if I recall, the main FSX directory must be shared, and also the AppData directory (on Vista). Greets, Landon
drwalker
Thanks Landon. I'm at work too - will try tonight and let you know. I don't know about you, but I find work seriously eats into FS time! Don

Heiko Glatthorn
Are you running Vista ? Make sure all shared folders got full permission for everyone. If it still doesn't work then add NETWORK to the users and give full permissions there as well. Bit tricky sometimes...
