The amazing internet...


 


Today I was able to sit in front of my computer in Brisbane and hear Ryan Campbell being given finals clearance to 16R at Van Nuys, California after a 14 hour flight from Hilo, Hawaii.


 


That's the Pacific Ocean crossed - good luck with the rest of your journey mate!

didn't know about this.  he has certainly taken a route across the pacific I might not have expected in a single engine GA.  didn't know the cirrus had that sort of range.  hope he succeeds!

apparently he had installed one of those ferry tanks or what ever its called, gave him extra fuel range
