Rimshot
Looking great Heiko. Glad we'll all be able to use REX shortly. I also use FEX. This program has a nice water set called 'Orbx brown'. Does REX have a predefined set that suits Australia and the FTX scenery?
Wolter van der Spoel
there is more than plenty of options to create a real Aussie feel to the whole of fsX with REX

Heiko Glatthorn
Thanks guys . Yep, that's the Eaglesoft Twin Comanche, the most FPS friendly aircraft in my hangar. PeanutButterJelly, do you mean how to upload pics and post those here ? There is a pinned topic about this procedure on top of the screen shot forum. Yesterday evening i finished a very nice real world weather flight with Twin from Redcliffe to Hervey Bay. Of course i captured some impressions on the way and will post those soon (hopefully it's not considered spamming... ). Btw, that's a night VC shot from the Twin Comanche for everybody interested :
PeanutButterJelly
no i mean a free roam picture of the bridge, how did you do that?
Heiko Glatthorn
no i mean a free roam picture of the bridge, how did you do that? now i understood... Switch to 2D cockpit and remove everything with the W key. Zoom out a little bit, but not too much that it doesn't get too distorted. Go to slew mode with the Y key. Inside your key assignments you'll find the different keys to use in slew mode (F3 - up, F1 - down, 0 - nose down, 9 - nose up, ect...). And use the 3 axis on the joystick of course (if you have a twister). edit: most important key is 5 on the keypad - it stops all movement...
