There is a big hotel, and old Soviet era building, not too far away, just a short walk from the old city. I stayed there back around 1999-2000 time frame. Really a neat place. RTK1972 Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 I have been to riga a few times back. all i can say is that those shots (especially the first one) for what i have seen from riga and the surroundings show it in a perfect way. The city has its houses, close together and lots of trees and vegetation outside. Great job orbx, very great job . Cant wait to buy it. Ripcord Posted May 13, 2013 Share Posted May 13, 2013 Just took a flight over Riga with just UTX Europe and FS Genesis mesh and it looked pretty weak by comparison. Either these screens here are just way better or I am getting so accustomed to flying in FTX and other payway areas that I can't quite put up with the regular terrain/textures, as good as they looked before.
