Daddy Bear
Hello. If I have installed a patch or a service pack into an ORBX area and I have forgotten which patches I have installed. Is it safe to install a patch or SP over the top of an existing installation? Will it cause errors? If I should not do this how can I tell which patches or SPs are installed as I don't want to have to start the whole install process from scratch? Also. Am I free to install ORBXLIBS at any point and why do I need to install them? Cheers Phil F
Wolter van der Spoel
Hi Phil, in principle you can re-install patches over the top, always install the latest library pack last and yes the library pack is essential as it contains, as the name already suggests, the latest library objects
Daddy Bear
Thank you again Wolter you are a star. Just one last thing though. When installing ORBXLIBS do I need FTX set to FSX/P3D default scenery? Cheers Phil F
Wolter van der Spoel
Hi Phil, for the orbxlib file to install it doesn't have any preferred setting of FTX Central
