I do like 'old fashioned pictures' as in the penultimate one but I suspect black and white met its demise before the last was taken! They made a nice change. Thank you Aces. Maybe the farmer is tired of the aircraft noise? ...its based on a story a few years back from the United States. A farmer was fed up with the aircraft flying fast and low over his farm. He claimed the noise upset his chickens & cows "etc". So he went out and painted a huge white "Quiet !!" on one of his plowed fields as a message to the pilots. .... it backfired as more pilots flew over head to have a giggle at this enormous sign painted in the freshly plowed field. LOL The last pic is possible to be in B&W as the X-15-1 was around in the late 1950s and 1960s. ... thats my excuse and sticking to it.
