FTX USA/Canada Pacific Northwest - Default.xml Missing

Hello,

Today I decided to finally pull the trigger on a few FSX addons and really get dug in, so I picked up some high-quality addons and got crackin'. However when applying the title mentioned package in FTX Central I'm getting an error of a missing file. The default.xml located in ORBX\Scripts\Backup\Default.xml is missing according to an "Unhandled exception" error. Checking the directory there isn't even a Backup directory. So;

- I'm running Windows 7.

- Game isn't installed in Program Files (x86) as that leads to access problems at times.

- I've re-downloaded the package with a download manager to make sure it isn't corrupt

- Turned off my Anti-virus completely

- Turned off UAC

- Ran the installer as Admin

- It's on a fresh installation of FSX Gold

However I keep running into this error and it's really souring my evening here ...

The full error as follows;

See the end of this message for details on invoking

just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I searched and looked, didn't find any suggestions besides the stuff I've already tried .... Help.

Hi Sethos,

not sure where things got tangled up, find the "Backup" folder and unzipp the attached file to .....\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\ORBX\Scripts\Backup or unzipp it in it's own folder and copy it over to the backup folder

default.zip

I'll leave the file attached for 24 hrs
