Gavinc
Hi, First off, I am am loving Orbx England. I couldn't find my house but I did find my neighbourhood and all the major roads and roundabouts (as well as a lot of the minor ones) were where they were supposed to be so Kudo's to the team. According to the manual there are over 170 unregistered airfields to discover. So far I am batting 0 for 170 so can anyone give me any hints? thanks Gavin
Paul Webster
have a look at the Google earth kmz file we provide (FTX_EU_ENG.kmz) it shows where all the airports are plus other features. the kmz is locate here "YOUR-FSX-FOLDER\ORBX\User Documents\" Paul
Gavinc
Thanks Paul, I knew about the KMZ file, what confused me was the reference to 170 unregistered airfields. The 180 airfields (yes I just counted them) in the KMZ file are all registered airfields with Airport codes. I was under the impression from the documentation that there were another 170 fields (farm fields etc) still to be discovered. Guess I was wrong. gert1957
Hi Paul an dGavin, I ran up to the same issue.I have been flying around, visiting sites of abandoned ww2 aerodromes etc, but I couldn't find ANY unregistered airfields. The KMZ file doesn't help either.. So, any help appreciated.. Gert1957
Paul Webster
That will be a typo, should just say "registered airfields" Paul
Gavinc
Guess we will just have to be satisfied with the 180 airfields that are currently available Sounds like an opportunity for an add-on. Gavin

Venturi
if you visited one rego field per day that alone would take 6 months, and we have punters searching for more LOL that's what I like about the orbx forums, always pushing the envelope )
