StormVR6
Hello, I've been messing around with the REX water texture colours from within the REX UI and noticed that I can't change the inland water colours in FTX. If I run FSX default my alterations take effect, in FTX mode they don't. Thanks for any help.
Holger Sandmann
Hi there, indeed, the basic water colors and static patterns are determined by our own waterclass files and textures. On the other hand, all of the reflective properties, simulated wave patterns, shaders, etc., are still controlled by FSX environment settings and REX or other replacement textures. Cheers, Holger
StormVR6
Thank you for your reply. So I can't change the base colours of any inland water? If that's the case then that would explain why I see prominent dividing lines when I fly out to sea. I'm sure ocean waters, when using FTX, can still be altered, is that correct? I was hoping to alter the colour for the Thames river (and all rivers/streams), it's very blue in EU ENG.
