Markon
A couple of questions. Have been starting to get into making videos of FSX. Using FRAPS to capture, Windows Movie Maker to resize the massive FRAPs files, Adobe Premier Elements 10 and Handbrake to convert to MP4s. Still stunned at the file sizes. What I was wondering is what resolution would you recommend for the videos to upload to Youtube and what would be a reasonable file size for a 2 minute video? Capnsully
Hi, I use 1280 by 720, more than enough. Cant recall my file sizes, I think 2 mins should be 2-300 megs. Yes the fraps sizes are stoopid huge. I always delete them ahead of rendering the next shoot. Make sure you have plenty of spare room on your hdd, or set up a remaining space warning. MarkH
I make my videos in 720p (1280x720). Looking back at some of mine, they average about 35-40MB per minute. I use Premiere Elements too (v7), with one of the WMV 720p rendering presets.
