Turnip Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 Well, I asked where the reef was. While waiting for an answer, I decided just to fly east out of Cairns. Within a few minutes, I saw it. THE REEF! With a load of scuba divers, I decided to set it down in an inlet. Afterall, I AM a skilled PILOT! With a perfect descent of 500 FPM and a nice "eye candy" bank to the right, I line up for a gentle "No Puke" splash down. THEN ....... I Get Stuck On The Freaking Reef. HELP! John Venema Posted October 2, 2008 Share Posted October 2, 2008 Semi-submerged reefs are implemented in AU GREEN as landclass and as such are not landable - we tried lots of ways to depict the GBR in the best way and this is what was voted on by the testing team as the best compromise - not that you would put any seaplane down directly over a reef anyway Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
