borisvp
Hi, I just let my computer dealer talk me into buying an brand new system for FSX (my old one is 3 years old meanwhile) However, my FSX installation on the old system is quite fresh and well planned and performed (and it did take some time to install all those sceneries and updates). Now: Can I simply take the whole FSX folder plus the relevant user files and folders over to the new system and set all the paths properly? I will do a new install of the OS on an SSD, though. Will that work? Or do I have to do a fresh install or a reactivation of the ORBX sceneries? Thanks for help - Boris
Venturi
I recently swapped over using this tutorial http://forum.avsim.n...over-to-an-ssd/ and the whole process completed under 30mins and no drama with ORBX. This was done from 1 disk directly to another within the same PC so you may need to modify it some
