I have recently re-installed FSX etc and have the problem again, but can't remember the solution. It's not a great problem, just a niusance that I would prefer not to have. "FSX has stopped working" is the error message when closing after a successful flight. not something that happens mid flight: just thought I would clarify. Appears that Windows is seeing a legitimate close as an error and then closes the program. I'll do a flight later and take a screenshot..that would be more helpful.
