AJR Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 Hi all, New to the forum and to FSX. I was addicted to FS9 and am looking forward to getting into FSX and all the FXT addons. I do have a quick question though. I've just about finished setting up a new rig, I hope it will be able to cope with FSX, I guess I'm just wondering if it will run it ok? Specs are: Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q9300 Vista home premium 4GB NECC Dual Channel DDR2 800MHz SDRAM Dual NVIDIA GeForce 9800GT Graphics 512MB SLi Cheers Andy Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We've just released the free FTX demo an hour ago so you can try it for yourself Based on your specs you will have zero issues at all. mahomo Posted September 4, 2008 Share Posted September 4, 2008 i would say you'll have no probs mate. my rig is a dual core athlon x2 3800, saphire ati 1950 256 meg, 2 gig ram and win xp. i have no probs at all, and have the recommended settings and normal/normal autogen, regularly get 20+ fps while running payware planes and active sky x too! get ready to get the credit card out mate, you won't look back ultimate defrag 2008 is also recommended as you can place your fsx folder to the outside/faster part of the drive Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
