The mandatory shot of tourist and helicopter is taken on the surface and then the return trip. I shouted my wife the flight (she's a fixed wing pilot) but only thought I paid one way. Wrong! Bassman Posted January 9, 2012 Share Posted January 9, 2012 Same for Franz Josef. Any trip to a NZ Glacier requires a helo flight as a minimum. I tried the one way ticket too..did'nt work for me either Next time I might try paying for her to hike to the foot of the glacier and see what happens Whoops, checkbook closing.......
