stevehowe Posted January 3, 2012 Share Posted January 3, 2012 Hi This is only area i've noticed this happening so far.and only over city . when in spot view i can see the scenery tiles going from water to desert and back to ftx tiles. I have FTX central set to North America and the library insertion points are set to default. ORBX LIBS are top then KHQM airport file CRM NRM PF PNW all grouped together scenery,cvx,mesh and custom entries. still think it's fantastic scenery.can't be beaten with the PMDG 737-600 any ideas appreciated steve-0 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Holger Sandmann Posted January 3, 2012 Share Posted January 3, 2012 Hi steve-0, you don't provide specific coordinates for your screenshot but I slewed around the KBOI area for a bit and didn't notice any problems. My suggestion would be to cycle FTX Central once to Default FSX and then back to Northh America. If that doesn't fix the issue we'll have to dig deeper. I forgot 2 it's the whole city area of Boise no other things installed at all.removed everything except FTx sceneries. used to have scenerytech LC NA but that went as well. might check my scenery folders to see if anything has remained. thanks steve-0 sorry meant to say i did read a few other scenery problems and they were advised to cycle the FTX central control panel.so i did that earlier. Vlad Maly Posted January 4, 2012 Share Posted January 4, 2012 Hi there: A few shots of my KBOI. Plain vanilla FSX install, cfg. No other sceneries but FTX and REX. Never had any issues / problems with installations as you can read from some other users. The first is FSX, other three FTX. I would guess that there is something wrong with your install (perhaps not all files installed etc., possible admin permission issues, bad download etc.) It appears that there are mixed up / incomplete land class tiles, I can't see it on FSX or FTX views... Possibly delete FTX folder, re-download, re-install, turn off UAC, antivirus and other usual W7 suspects! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
stevehowe Posted January 4, 2012 Author Share Posted January 4, 2012 Hi I decided to go for a complete reinstall of FSX and FTX.Must be 6 hours later i'm just defragging my 44GB install. hopefully this will solve the scenery problem i had. So at the moment it's a new FSX with acceleration sp2 with all the FTX packages i own. plus PMDg 737 ng,TrafficX,Shade and Fscaptain.
