macca22au
Tried a texture max load editor from Frosty software which claims to hold the max load to the number you choose. So I am trying 2048 and it does seem to improve the pics while at the same time not doing too much to frames. It's claim is that it stops FSX.cfg always taking the number back to the default. First, a 500ft flypast of the Gold Coast high-rise at 2048 TML Climbing to 1500ft over the structures on the way to the Broadwater - the large open area of estuarine water. The canals where I live, accurately outlined but landclass regrettably all wrong for the indigenes And clipping the edge of Mason's Field (YSPT), and the sewage ponds in front - both accurately depicted with the ponds nicely located for an EFATO. Using Rex real weather, hence the haziness on a cloudy day in the subtropics, but of course 27C.
