Rob Newman Posted December 7, 2011 Share Posted December 7, 2011 Just had time for one quick flight today, Portland-Hillsboro to Seattle. Took off in VFR conditions (though there was a nasty looking storm out to the south) and headed North... Wasn't long though till I hit the clouds over Washington! And FSX was playing particularly well today and my clouds looked awesome... Here's a few shots of the trip... Shortly after turning North... Vancouver area. The clouds start rolling in... Definitely IFR conditions now... Time to file and open a flight plan... A brief respite... Time to enjoy the scenery! Last chance to land VFR... Make the most of this last look of solid ground for a while! Heading back in... And cue the rain... The sun is on it's way down... Breaking out, Seattle in sight (On vectors for ILS 16C)...
