Bassman
Probably sounds a funny topic title but I have too many aircraft in my library that I do not actually want to fly, however need them so I can see as many other aircraft on-line as possible. i.e. IRIS Hawk gives numerous aircraft textures; I want the textures for AI but don't want all of them in my library, takes too long to select. How do I remove fvrom library, but retain as AI?
mjrhealth
Simply go into the aircraft config and delete the offending textures, but remember to retain the numbering system, and keep a backup copy just in case. Secondly using full aircraft as ai can be a bit of a frame hog as they are not optimised as ai, Just the cockpit alone adds unnecessay overheads. Derek McAllan
Change the name of the panel.cfg file in each texture directory you want out of the library to something like panel_OFF.cfg and it won't show up anymore, but will still be there for future reference or AI or multiplayer etc. Cheers, Derek
Dave_YVR
Why not just use AI models where able instead? It's MUCH easier on your system and frame rates wont tank.
