I thought, hang on a sec maybe I haven't activated FTX NA from FTX central. So I switched it back to AUS then to NA (as it was when I found the problem). In the current state I have only FTX AU installed. If you do have the above items installed properly, browse to: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\Global\Texture\veg_Broadleaf_ChestnutMaple_FA.dds and check that this file actually exists Cheers Tim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

calum438 Posted November 20, 2012 Author Share Posted November 20, 2012 Hi TIm, thanks for that, I've installed my three AU regions no problem and i'm no longer getting the error message in FTX central. however; Before the PNW installer finishes i get a warning irsetup: A sharing violation occurred while accessing C:\Program Files(x86)\MIcrosoft Games\ MIcrosoft Flight Simulator X\\ORBX\FTX_NA\FTX_NA_PNW08_CUSTOM exture\040b2and.agn. i've tried the installer twice and have had FTX Central set to default both times. Tim Harris Posted November 20, 2012 Share Posted November 20, 2012 Hi Calum, due to the location of your FSX: the Program files (x86) folder, you will be subjected to a much higher level of windows security Windows actually describes this error as meaning: A sharing violation occurred while accessing filename. Explanation: The file you are trying to access or copy is in use by another program. User Action: Try again later. Couple of things I would try.. 1 - reboot and retry 2- try is right click on the FTXcentral icon on your desktop and select the 'Compatibility' tab and tick the 'Run this program as an administrator' box, the try running FTXcentral again If that fails... I would try reinstalling PNW again by right clicking on the installer and choosing 'Run as administrator', and of course make sure you do not have anything FS related running while installing, and if you have antivirus or UAC (User access control) to turn those off temporally Cheers Tim Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
