yallu
Has nothing to do with FTX but since there's a bunch of knowledgefull simmers here mayby someone's solved the problem... While in full-screen VC, when I take the mouse over some gauge I get a tooltip. Only it's all distorted and unreadable... In 2D and windowed 3D VC mode the tooltip is clear and readable. Is there any way to fix the problem since I'm used to the full-screen 3D VC? TIA
Wolter van der Spoel
Hi yallu, Are you using a LCD or a CRT screen ? Could be that you need to set "cleartype" in your display properties. right click your desktop, Appearance Effects choose Cleartype of you have a "flatscreen" standard if you have a CRT screen OK it, and it should solve your lil issue me thinks
yallu
Thanks for helping . I've got a flat screen and I tried both ways - no luck. Here's the actual problem again:
Wolter van der Spoel
mmmmmmmmmm, That's weird, maybe the font size has been changed by another addon ? the image looks pretty crisp to me with exception of the pop up text To be honest I'm a bit stumped at the moment ........................ Dexter Dog
Hey, I get the same thing, but only with some planes! I think the DO-27 does this, I'd have to check,
tom
Me also - it seems pretty common with addons. Cheers
brendanstacey
I think its got something to do with it being not sp2 compatable or something like that.
yallu
I think its got something to do with it being not sp2 compatable or something like that. Hmm... I'm at work atm and back home sunday - so can't check... But I'm pretty sure it's the same with MS default planes as well. They should be SP2 compatible, no? brendanstacey
If you mean Microsft/ACES, you won't get the fix as they said theve stoped work on FSX. That means individual Companies need to work on a fix themeselves.
