macca22au Posted November 1, 2007 Share Posted November 1, 2007 I had the opportunity to visit the Orbx display at last weekend's Flightsim Expo. The scenery is developing well, and is really awesome. It makes it even harder to wait for its release - on the other hand I also observed the detailed work that is required and the many fixes that are still necessary as the project proceeds. (Including the trees beside the Lilydale airstrip - but the difference between the default and the new is astonishing). I didn't have a chance to meet John Venema but his colleagues were most helpful and informative. It was quite something to fly this new terrain on a projected curved screen.
