Dags60
Hi guys this config error just started to appear upon firing up FSX. I didnt put it in the payware support forum as i'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with my ORBX sceneries, but then again i'm not really sure. So if anyone can shed any light on this it would be great. Cheers!
Jack the Swede in Spain
Hi It means that a scenery that you have in FSX scenery list doesn't exist! Open the file scenery.cfg in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\FSX Go to the line (Area 115) mentioned in the error message. There you will see what scenery it is. Start FSX and delete that scenery in your Setteings/Scenery-list and save. Check the scenery.cfg again and the OLD Area 115 should be deleted and if NOT delete it manually. Start FSX again and you should have no more error messasge. JJJ
normandean
Hold on a bit. That message suggests that the scenery folder has been removed from the addon scenery folder, and it should not have been. Take a look at your addon scenery folder and if there is no scenery folder within it then create a new one. Norman
John York
Yes, that's right Norman. Somehow you are missing a scenery folder that's on your disc but not in FSX. Once you have determined what it is, if you want it, just go to FSX settings and add it using the tool provided. John
