John Venema
For the Oz Flightsim Expo on the Gold Coast on October 27-28th, we've created a demo scenery area for attendees to play with. One of the beta team, Bazzam, has made some nice postcards from the demo area for you to enjoy. I'll ask Barry to continue his "postcards" series from around the country

macca22au
Mind you FSX is so versatile we'll have dress up dolls next ... and I enjoy the sim for the flying! You can see why ACES will use the scenery engine as the basis for the next Train Simulator - and frankly if floatplanes (after all if you keep the floatplane on the water then you have a boat anyway) can be made to use the water in FSX then the next stop is yacht simulation, power boats, ships, naval games etc etc. I suspect that if I looked at the forums and sites more closely, some of these may already have appeared. It is a powerful commercial asset that has been developed, and with the SDK approach the whole intellect of the add-on community gets involved in making it better and better.
