Wildbird Posted February 14, 2011 Share Posted February 14, 2011 After a couple of landings with the Dodo on the riverside helipad the temptation of the bridges got too big. There was no avoiding it, I had to return to Portland Int and load up the Breitling L-39 with the intention of following the river low level. After two miserable failures I had to swallow my pride and reduce the speed enough to add some flaps. Wingtips and water do not blend... I did not attempt the incredibly low raising bridge, but I managed to dive to get under the next bridge again. The first pic is from the return trip, I didn't dare to pause for a photoshoot during the first run. Also, played around with the blur filters. Hope you like!
