Bassman
Can anybody advise or point in a direction as to, once installed and running correctly, what one can do with an SSD, what one should do with an SSD and perhaps more imprtantly what one should not do with an SSD Cheers Dan
Ian Routley
Don't spill your coffee on it. Don't defrag it.

chumley
Watch out for the Red light beside the Green. If you see that it is not good news. I had an SSD exactly the same as yours and it lasted less than a day before it fell in a screaming heap. I'm currently awaiting a replacement from my supplier in Brisbane after they confirmed its demise. Andy b
Heiko Glatthorn
Don't spill your coffee on it. Don't use the latest Intel chip ...and turn Indexing and prefetch off (the SSD is fast enough that you won't notice a difference). Less HDD activity is better. Use TRIM (or other utilities) regularly to keep it tidy and the speed up.
Bassman
Interesting comment Heiko. I have read somewhere that it is not all P67 chips , just one particular chip which I don't believe is the P67 chip I have. Cheers Dan
