Hi guys,

the numbers in the cfg don't refer to meters but rather to the level of the nested grid system (mesh LOD) that FS uses for terrain display. See http://home.earthlink.net/~smgreenwood/numbers.shtml ("What is LOD?").

Thus, LOD22 refers to a ~10-m resolution of the raster grid, LOD23 to ~5m, etc.

If you have FSX Deluxe and the optional SDK installed (DVD1) then you can read more about it in the Terrain SDK section.

Cheers, Holger
