When I observe activity around the new YMML I notice that an Emirates 777 departs from Gate 18 then stops after doing the customery 180 deg turn away from the terminal. The aircraft remains stationery until it disappears. Would this be a bad link between the gate and the taxiway?

1.which emirates flight was this . does it happen all the time.(day/time)

2.does it receive taxi clearance from ATC

i just had a look at all emirates flight departing from that gate , and it leaves just fine getting cleared to runway 16/34

sometimes what happens is if there are other aircrafts taxiing at the same time one might get to hold position and of course if it holds for too long it disappears

Ground vehicles can some time stop aircraft as well. In the FSX world ground vehicles seem to have priority over aircraft, go figure??

Best way to avoid problems is to turn Airport vehicle density down or off to give your AI aircraft a decent go.
