A really nice area to fly in and a fantastic job from Ken Hall at Oz for bringing us this amazing scenery..

Spieden and Stuart Island

Some with the Cessna Float

Leaving Spieden airstrip, having to take off downhill due to this airstrips steep gradient

Although this Island is pretty much deserted, its amazingly done from Ken Hall and has alot to offer

Very close, is neighbouring Island, Stuart Island

Attention to detail is amazing, this area has such character and makes it a very unique area to fly in PNW

Can land anywhere with these floats and this area has the facilities to accomodate

And some with Ant's Tiger Moth

Departing Stuart Island

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/5382010_10_20_22_40_15_42.jpg

Beautiful Scenery

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/4542010_10_20_22_42_39_45.jpg

A fly past Spieden airstrip, sizing up my approach

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/8952010_10_20_22_44_31_16.jpg

[img width=1121 height=700]http://fsfiles.org/flightsimshots/images/9602010_10_20_22_45_27_30.jpg

And much to my error, tried to make a landing downhill... there was no stopping, so I had to hit the gas and get outa there

Thats better, landing uphill

Fantastic shots, and yes it is nice to see the autogen turned up. I can't turn mine up that high, so it's really nice to see how it looks with all those lovely trees. I fly in that area quite a lot, usually in the cub though with tundra tires. Should try a float plane and get down with the boats.

Thanks for posting :)
