Spirit Flyer_old
Cessna November 9916 to US and Canadian Coast Guard units and search and rescue aircraft and vessels in the Gulf and San Juan Islands: "Priority Emergency Message. We have spotted the missing car ferry on the rocks at the north side of Skull Island channel on the south side of Rim Island, south of Decatur Island. I repeat we have found the ship that issued the Mayday during the storm! It looks like it has hit hard and has sunk by the stern with the bow in the air. Looks bad from the air, real bad. There seems to be survivors on the bow section. Hurry! Send choppers. I will keep circling as long as my fuel allows looking for people in the water! November 9916 standing by. Over.
