Taking off of runway 28 Turning crosswind Landed on a sandbar! Hoping I would make it off..and I did, with room to spare. The amazing little town of Darrington. Just be sure to keep your job! By the way, did you find Mt Kinch Ice Station? I had a go in daylight with a flight plan and STILL couldn't find it! Yes I found Mt Kinch Ice Station, just took off from Port Hardy (CYZT) and flew a heading of 025 for about 65 miles. I dialed CYZT into my GPS after I took-off so I could tell how far Id gone.
