Russ White
(read in the hushed whisper of David Attenborough) Here....in the Serengeti national park, we witness a familiar Lion, known as 'Emmsie' still panting from the chase, holding a freshly caught Gazelle by the throat. This Gazelle, although small, will provide Emmsie with the nurishment he needs for days.....indeed he may not need to hunt again for some weeks. We now observe Emmsie, proudly showing off his catch to the rest of the pride, while all the time a watchful eye is maintained, to guard against unwanted attack from Hyena, who frequently pirate fresh kills from the pride.
