oldngray
A earlier build my EVGA GTX 1070ti GPU was powered by 2 individual 8 pin cables, this new PSU has a single 8 pin cable that spits into two 8 pin to power the GPU. I thought I read something about not using this type cable but cannot remember where that article is. The new PSU is EVGA 650 G 5. I am still using the GTX1070ti. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
John Dow
That's not a very taxing GPU and I suspect the PSU manufacturer has beefed up the supply for the GPU feed, so I can't see any reason to not trust it.
