Richard Myers Posted July 17, 2021 Share Posted July 17, 2021 Having purchased Sumburgh this morning for MSFS. The sim is crashing to desktop when I try to load a flight at the airport. I have disabled all other scenery for the UK, removed and then reinstalled Sumburgh. Next steps? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
John Dow Posted July 17, 2021 Share Posted July 17, 2021 You need to move all other sceneries and aircraft etc Sumburgh out of the community folder (just cut to another folder in the same location with a different name like Hangar or Holding) and leave only Sumburgh in the COmmunity folder. Then test. If it works, reintroduce your other sceneries in batches of five is a good idea. You should be able to move all the Orbx sceneries back in strightaway as Sumburgh works with all Orbx sceneries loaded. I can pretty well guarantee that it will be a conflict with another scenery, most likely a freeware. All it takes is for two sceneries to try to access identiaclly named files for problems to appear (so I believe). I loaded up Sumburgh and spent a good hour flying around just last night.
