Bert Laverman
It was stated that I can simply copy scenery from the p3dv4 library to the p3dv5 library, _if_ they are in the list of compatible products. This will save me a download. However, I'd like to prevent a duplicate copy of the ca. 100GB of files. Can I use a link instead? For example, I could make a short script that creates "EU Germany South" and the files directly in there (specifically add-on.xml) and link the rest. That way I use minimal extra disk space even though I have it in both versions. BTW Suggested (and related) feature for Orbx Central: allow a "Do not delete files" option when uninstalling, so the product in question will not need to be redownloaded when installed again. This will allow for huge speed benefits in P3D startup when doing local flights. When doing e.g. NW America flights, you could uninstall all Europe and Asia-Pacific scenery. Deselecting in Scenery.CFG will not prevent it from scanning, so removing is preferred. Bert Laverman
John Dow
You should be able to add the scenery directly from your scenery library using the Add Scenery option. You just look up the location in the other P3D version and it will pull the scenery in form there. Much easier if they are installed into the sim folder, a bit trickier if you have them in a library.
