dcongram
During a RE-installation, I noticed an 'extra' Orbx LIBRARIES being called by Scenery.cfg (via addon cfg) ------------------------------- "Orbx Libraries Lookup D:\Library\p3dv4\Orbx libraries\Orbx\scripts\custom gb_bare\Landclass Active addon-ackage <Orbx Libraries> Not Required Layer139" "Orbx Libraries Global D:\Library\p3dv4\Orbx Libraries\Scenery\Global active addon-package <Orbx libraries> Not Required Layer 138" --------------------------------- The 'Orbx Libraries' directory sub structure is as follows: \Effects \Orbx \Scenery \Sound \Texture \Weather ------------------------- I've never seen these before, and wondering whether they are required, or another GLITCH in Orbx Central Can a PROGRAMMER tell me if they should be ignored ?? add-on.xml
Nick Cooper
Hello, far from being "another GLITCH in Orbx Central", they are essential to the successful use of Orbx scenery products.
dcongram
I've installed Orbx before (at least 8 times -new computer or new drives, etc) and these libraries have NEVER shown up before. I've kept backups of ALL .cfg files on separate NAS drive - NONE of them (FS/x - FS/x se - P3d, V1, V3) show those two libraries That's why I asked for a PROGRAMMER would answer this question. Nick Cooper
Hello, until the customer was able to choose to install the products into an Orbx Central Library, these entries would indeed not be there. The change took place with P3D v4. Their purpose is to allow P3D to use the files versions in the Orbx Central Library, instead of the default versions.
