rtaylor_91 Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 I continuously get these tiles issues flying around the UK, mainly the Central and Southern areas. Please see the attached SS. Any help would be hugely appreciated.
rtaylor_91 Posted March 15, 2021 Author Posted March 15, 2021 Sorry, please see attached my log.txt and scenery.ini files, please note, I do not experience CTDs' or anything like that, just missing random tiles which doesnt appear from time to time. scenery_packs.ini Log.txt
Jon Clarke Posted March 15, 2021 Posted March 15, 2021 Welcome. This issue normally relates to your CPU/GPU combo not being able to load the scenery tiles quick enough. This is mostly experienced when flying jets. Please try a test and fly in the default C172 and tell me if you get the same issues. If you don't then you may need to lower some settings in XP. it ios not an addon issue but more of a hardware issue, normally speaking. If you post your PC specs and XP graphics settings we can see if there is wriggle room to adjust. I have adjusted your scenery_packs.ini as it was layered incorrectly. I suggest you remove the zzz prefix on the Orbx Orthos files for LOWI and TE addons as it will make the files go to the bottom of the scenery_pack and they are to be placed in A/B/C sequence directly below Global Airports. The adjusted scenery_pack will get overwritten again if you keep the prefix. Keep a spare copy of the attached scenery-pack file Are you using X-Organiser? scenery_packs.ini
rtaylor_91 Posted March 16, 2021 Author Posted March 16, 2021 Hi Jon, thanks for your reply, I'll test your suggestion out and I'll replace the scenery packs file soon also. My graphics card is a nVidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB. I'm not using x-Organiser. Thanks again, Ryan
Jon Clarke Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Let me know the results of your test when done please. Thanks.
rtaylor_91 Posted March 17, 2021 Author Posted March 17, 2021 Hi Jon, thanks for your help, I've tested both the C172 as well as the Zibo 738 and no faults for both. Much appreciated. Ryan
