Captsolo
Appreciate this will have been covered before, I am about to uninstall p3d and all my add ons from drive C and reinstall on a new ssd m2 drive G. Are there any instructions I could follow to make sure my add ons including Orbx are installed on the correct drive, or is it relatively straightforward many thanks in advance Andrew
Nick Cooper
Hello, this might help. It works in the same way for P3D v4 and when you reach the installer, direct it to a new folder that you will have created on your G drive.
Captsolo
Thanks Nick, that’s useful, I have followed those I instructions, P3d is now in Directory G and, without any add ons yet, works ok. I have uninstalled all my add ons including Orbx and want to reinstall on drive G. When I reinstall Orbx do I need to change anything in the settings page under Libraries or will all Orbx products still reside in C:\ Users\Andrew\Orbx Library. Also when installing individual products ( eg Base Pack) do I set the install location as G:\Prepard 3D V4 ? Apologies these may seem silly questions but I am a novice on these things thanks again Andrew
Nick Cooper
Hello Andrew, Orbx Central should detect P3D at its new location without any need of further input. If you were using an Orbx Central Library, there was no need to uninstall the products, but if you have, then Orbx Central will replace them in the same folder.
