Xander975
Recently I installed all the NL2000 airports and Orbx global base. So far no problems, all the airports work as intended, but when I installed Orbx Vector I noticed that there were some clear and bothersome elevation/scenery issues with NL2000's Rotterdam scenery. I tried to trace it down to wether it was Orbx Vector or Global Base. Sadly it was the former of the two. I have checked the Vector configuration too to see if the ICAO code of Rotterdam was in the list but sadly it is not. I also tried to fix the problem by disabling the "ABP_EHRD.bgl" file in the map location "Global VECTOR\Orbx\FTX_VECTOR\FTX_VECTOR_APT\scenery", also to no avail. So far have no idea what other way there is to fix the problem. This picture shows the elevation/scenery problem with NL2000 Rotterdam and Orbx Vector (Elevation issue is further down the rest of the runway not in the picture) And this picture show no elevation/scenery problems when Orbx Vector is turned off/uninstalled If anyone can help me with this, it is much appreciated. Nick Cooper
Hello, as you point out, there are no Vector files, so the problem at EHRD cannot be ascribed to Vector. Cam you say which simulator and which other Orbx products you have installed that you think might be conflicting with your NL 2000 airports please? Xander975
As of now, I have only installed NL2000's EHRD Rotterdam scenery(v5.04) and Orbx Vector, of which I assume is version 1.6.7 if I look at the configuration tool, though could be the version of the tool itself. In any case I have the most recent version of Orbx Vector installed via Orbx Central. Among them I have also installed their respective libraries, both them the most recent version. As I pointed out the problem seems to be between NL2000's Rotterdam scenery and Orbx Vector. I am using P3D v4.5 hotfix 3 and windows 10. I have already tried the whole method of reinstalled everything over again, including windows, but to no avail.
Nick Cooper
Hello, I am unable to replicate this at all. Perhaps you could attach a copy of C:\programdata\Lockheed Martin\prepar3d v4\scenery.cfg and I'll see if there is a problem there. For the record, in this shot is Orbx Global Base, Orbx openLC Europe and Orbx Vector. I have installed the whole of NL 2000, not just the airports, which is why there is nothing of the Orbx products to be seen.
Xander975
I have tried to replicate your solution, although I do not have Orbx openLC Europe. Only Orbx Global Base and Orbx Vector and everything of NL2000, including the 3d objects, all of the photoreal ground textures of the 12 dutch provinces and all the airports. Aside from that, everything has been inserted using the add-on.xml method. So in the annotations you will find a copy of the Scenery.cfg, add-ons.cfg, and scenery_add-ons.cfg. I also put in a copy of the add-on.xml of Orbx Vector just in case add-ons.cfg Scenery.CFG scenery_add-ons.xml add-on.xml
Nick Cooper
Hello, thanks. How does that look in the in game scenery library? Specifically, where is Vector in relation to EHRD and in what order are the Vector scenery library entries please?
Xander975
Sorry for the late reply, here are the screenshots of the scenery library. As you can see, everything that is injected through the add-on.xml method is grayed out, so I can not force the load order through P3D itself but I assume it is still possible by manually editing the load order in the cfg file itself. Anyway the screenshots are in the annotations. There is also a exclude of FSdreamteam in there but that is not checked/turned on as you can see in the 4th annotation. Nick Cooper
Hello, thanks for that. I think that your problem is because Vector is above NL2000. The entries must be here: and in that strict order and here:
Xander975
How do I make sure that Orbx Vector has the right entrie order? can that be fixed by changing the insertion point in Orbx central?
Nick Cooper
Hello, that should work. Try setting Airports and Regions under NL2000_EHAL and openLC under airports and regions.
Xander975
Okay I have fixed the load order by changing the layer numbers by hand and so far so good, the conflict between NL2000 Rotterdam and Orbx Vector has been fixed. But just be sure, here are the screenshots of the current load order. I hope everything is in the right place, and if not, please let me know
