Mac6737
I have 3 sims on my HD: MSFS, P3D and FSX. I have decided to uninstall FSX (what's it been, 15 years?). I don't use it any more, P3D is really just an update of FSX and I want to make some more room on my HD. I have many Orbx products installed on both FSX and P3D. As I understand the file structure, installing a given Orbx product (e.g., an airport) in 2 sims means there are 2 copies of it on the HD. If I simply uninstall FSX, will that delete the Orbx folder in FSX, too? If so, would that have any effect on the Orbx products installed in P3D? Do I need to uninstall each of the Orbx products from FSX before proceeding? I'm hoping I can just go to the Control Panel and uninstall FSX without worrying about the same products installed in P3D. Thanks, Mac6737
Nick Cooper
Hello, you can uninstall FSX and then delete the FSX root folder. This will have no effect on your Orbx installation for P3D.
