Nick Cooper
Hello, P3D should create its own scenery and other configuration files. Perhaps you need to check the integrity of your installation.
Danster
Not sure what you mean by Integrity . There is NO cfg file at all in the program when installed Message : Prepar3d CANNOT run without a valid scenery.cfg. Please uninstall and reinstall Prepar3d. Click ABORT to exit Prepar3d ABORT Both of which I have done, am at a loss Nick
rhalunen
Just a thought; Go to: C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 and see if your scenery.cfg is there. If it is, delete it. P3D will rebuild the scenery.cfg. the next time you open P3D. You may want to pick up the free Lorby Prepar3D Addon Organizer: https://www.lorby-si.com/downloads.html This will allow you to work with your scenery without having to load P3D. Good luck and good hunting. Cordially, Roger
Nick Cooper
Hello, really this is a topic for the Lockheed Martin P3D forum. I certainly have no idea why P3D is not creating its own, although if it is a permissions issue, it would be worth making sure that it is run as an administrator. Quote integrity noun [U] (WHOLE) formal the quality of being whole and complete. In this case that the P3D installation is whole and complete.
