answered CPU upgrade - will sceneries still work

I have fsx steam installed. When upgrading my cpu (motherboard and hard drive remain but system BIOS update will be needed) will I have to reinstall Orbx sceneries or do they 'stick' with the simulator? I wonder if I should wait installing sceneries until the cpu upgrade is done or will it work just fine?

Hello,

changing your PC hardware will not affect your installation if you do not change any of the drives or the files on them.

In fact, I have fairly recently changed everything inside my PC except for the drives and both Windows and all of the

seven simulators that I have installed continue to work, just as before.
