Central vers 4.1.28 Orbx Central issue - Error - A communication error occurred - still persisting

Recommended Posts

Hi Nick, thank you for the hints provided. Tried all 3 links, but Microsoft says all components are installed, no need for installation.

Rebooted system and tried again 1) download via Orbx Central and 2) website when loged in. Both sources list the MB 339 as "product owned", none will start a download, same error message from Orbx central and no reaction at all from website.

Hard to believe that a crucial touchpoint to your (new) customers is so vulnerable! Checked the posts in the Orbx forums as well, telling me that these download bugs have a significant share of the complaints. In my opinion a top priority on the to do list of your marketing! Please note: We simmers are used to a smooth process when buying new products -go to DCS or IL2, less than 5 minutes after purchase you will be in the cockpit of the newly acquired airplane, promised!

Nevertheless my patience is not exhausted. Lets give it a final trial based on todays logfile attached.

Regards

Hello,

I uninstalled my copy and offer the two logs for comparison.

I don't know why it should be but something is clearly interfering with your Orbx Central connection to the server.

Could it be a firewall or perhaps anti virus software?
