johanno4
Hi All. I am new here and in dire need of assistance. The default installation path (C:\Users\Name\AppData\Local\Programs\Orbx-central) has become corrupt on my system. I had the same problem with Prepad3d v4, which I resolved by changing the installation path to another drive. My question therefore is how can I change the installation path for Orbx central to another drive as that will resolve my issue with Orbx Central as well (please see the error message in the uploaded image). Unfortunately when you install this program you have no control over the installation path. Any assistance will be appreciated. Regards, Johann
Nick Cooper
Hello, do you still see that when you run Orbx Central as an administrator?
johanno4
Hello Nick. Unfortunately yes. A few days ago I amended the properties of my C:/Users folder from hidden to unhidden and back which just corrupted them. That's when my problems started. Nick Cooper
You could try deleting the Orbx folder at the path shown in your screen shot. Orbx Central will replace it with a new one and you may be lucky. It must be worth a try.
johanno4
I tried that as well. No luck. It seems that until I can find a way to change the installation path I am stuck. Thank you for trying to assist..
Nick Cooper
Hello, would you be able to repair Windows without causing yourself other problems, that might fix your Users folder?
johanno4
Hi Nick. Yes, I have gone through the process of repairing corrupt files on my computer without any luck. I am at the point of considering whether I should re-install Windows 10.
