I'm just hovering over the surface and not coming into contact with it. I don't have any 'failures' set up, and I've never seen this behaviour at any other helipad, lighthouse, airfield. For some reason, despite multiple take-offs and landings I couldn't get the tail rotor to 'fail'. However, the Huey has a weird quirk of it's own (only seen on Bishop's Rock) which I mentioned in my original thread - the collective goes a bit odd. When you touch down, you hear a strange 'fluttering' from the blades, and if you wait for a while it will start creeping along the ground. I'm a terrible heli flyer, but I decided to give it a whack on my MOD and it seems I can take off with no problem, but trying to land is a different story.
