Mogens Gaardbo Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 I keep getting this message (see picture). Verying files don't help - still the same. Tried installing in simulator as well as in library - same result.
Nick Cooper Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Hello, please try a visit to the Orbx Central Downloader page and click on Clear. If you made a backup, please temporarily remove that from its folder and then run Verify files for EGSS.
Mogens Gaardbo Posted October 18, 2020 Author Posted October 18, 2020 If you by 'clear' mean the little cross - empty the download quequ (thats the only thing I find on the downloader) - did that, still the same result and same error. It obviously download, extract and install, but ending up with installation errors as described. Rather irritating.
Mogens Gaardbo Posted October 18, 2020 Author Posted October 18, 2020 - OR I don't know what you mean by the 'Orbx Central Downloader page'. In my Orbx central there is NO download page. Only the download queue. So please be a little more specific.
Mogens Gaardbo Posted October 18, 2020 Author Posted October 18, 2020 Thankyou - problem solved. Thorough information is a good thing :-)
Nick Cooper Posted October 18, 2020 Posted October 18, 2020 Good news. The information is there, on pages 22 and 28 of the Orbx Central User Guide.
Mogens Gaardbo Posted October 19, 2020 Author Posted October 19, 2020 OK :-) message understood. Nive scenery - but it seems, that the jetways are not working. Is that right?
Nick Cooper Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 Hello, here is the reason given by the developer and his proposed solution. There are currently no moving gates in the MSFS version. That's due to the current state of the MSFS SDK. It will be added when there is a stable support in the SDK for it. The gate types can only move on 2 axis (not 3 as is the usual), which is currently not supported by MSFS.
Mogens Gaardbo Posted October 19, 2020 Author Posted October 19, 2020 Yes, the jetways are speciel in ESGG as well as in ESSA and (as far as I remember) ENGM. Must be difficult for the pllots in the real world to place the aircraft precisely. Thankyou.
