Otto Groschenbuegel
Can anyone tell me if I have to deactivate the NA Scenerey when I install a TE Scenery of the same area ? I am aware that I when I want seasonal scenery I have to switch off TE. Thanks for your help !
Gulfstreamtwo
No need to deactivate NA SoCal since photoreal replaces landclass tiles. On the other hand, if you want to have seasons (such as they are in southern California), you'll want to deactivate TE SoCal via the in-sim menu. ScottGridley
In the configuration app for each True Earth addon, there's an option to allow seasonal foliage. It's superimposed on top of stock TE photoreal, but I'm finding it looks fine for california, maybe even OR/WA. IMO...

Gulfstreamtwo
Fair point, Scott. The seasonal trees might be OK in SoCal (where I learned to fly), but for some (maybe many of us), there's more to seasons than trees in places like NorCal (where I was a CFI/charter/corporate pilot for several thousand hours). Here's where to find the seasonal tree foliage window in Orbx Central for TE NorCal and what the configuration window looks like:
