SKCL airport out of terrain elevation

Recommended Posts

Hi Nick, have a look on the following pics: SKCL 1: shows Ftx Global Vector, Airport Elevation Corrections with SKCL still on left side (not yet corrected)

SKCL 2: shows SKCL final for runway 01, with airport elevation not corrected at Ftx Globel Vector

SKCL 3: shows Ftx Global Vector, Airport Elevation Corrections with SKCL already correct on right side

SKCL 4: shows SKCL final for runway 01, with airport elevation corrected at Ftx Globel Vector

Confirming: No add on airport at SKCL, or anr other airport in Colombia.

What version of P3D v4 is in use?

I ask because LM made changes to the way elevation is applied in the later releases (v4.5.13 I believe).

That said I'm running  4.5.14 (hotfix 3) and I don't see the same as either Nick or lcmiguez and I've openLC South America, open LC South America Mesh, FreeMesh South and Central America, and have SKCL on the left side of the AEC config tool.

On the trouble shooting side of things I find Little Nav Map is a quite useful tool, not only for navigation but also to show what files are in use for a particular airport and I've used it many a times to help track down issues of elevation and such caused by  the clash of airports.
